A Nanny will take care of one or multiple children in their parents' home, making the children's breakfast, preparing them for school or nursery, along with ensuring transport for the children to take them to and from school and activities is arranged. A nanny will be responsible for exercising, teaching, training and entertaining the children whilst ensuring that discipline is reinforced.

A Nanny may also be responsible for completing household chores, laundry and preparing meals for the children,
